Cuff Links & Pins

I am pleased to report that our new series of cuff links is progressing well and our extremely talented wax modeller is making a brand new set each 6 weeks, it takes about another 6 weeks to get them cast ( each one is made by the lost wax process ) , solder on the chains, assayed and then set the stones in the eyes so that I have to be patient, which is very difficult as each one so far has been a great success and after so much effort I am very anxious to see each finished article.

The continuing increase in the price of silver and particular gold is giving us cause for concern as it will inevitably lead to a small rise in silver cuff links and a larger rise in the gold ones. In January I purchased a fair amount of casting rose gold so that an increase wont happen until I run out. We are in the process of using the same grouse, woodcock etc to make broaches. pins and also bracelets ( game birds and animals all nose to tail around the wrist ) all in rose gold. So those that need a decent stock of brownie points for the forthcoming season; you need look no further. All the birds will have our usual ruby eyes and the fishes sapphire eyes, our new batch of stoats have Citrine ( yellow ) eyes which are quite fetching.

SWIVEL BACKED CUFFLINKS

Please note that we can now supply any of our cufflinks without a joining chain but with a swivel back ( torpedo shaped bar that moves through 90 degrees ). I know that there are many men out there who really cant be bothered with the hassle of putting chain cufflinks through a double cuffed shirt so we have addressed this problem and now hold in stock most of our cufflinks with swivel backs - much easier to put on, but of course you miss out on the " other side " of our designs.

We have a good stock of both silver and 9ct yellow gold cufflinks with swivel backs but this is not complete and you might have to be patient for some items. We dont have any rose gold cufflinks with swivel backs - nobody makes the backs!

PRICE - Exactly the same as for the standard version joined with a chain.

STOCK PIN

Showing at Fairs is a great way of getting feedback and new ideas. We showed at Brahmam this year and was impressed with the whole horse world and the passion ( and money ) expended on it. At our stand we had a string of Ladies examining our cufflinks and jewellery and was taken to task for not having any stock pins.

This is just the sort of challenge I like so I have made one using our hunted fox and a copy of an Asprey malacca stock whip! We have a silver version and one in 9ct yellow gold.

With the silver pin I have set 5 emaralds in the whip handle and of course a ruby in the eye of the fox; the gold pin has 6 beautiful diamonds! The fox is gilded with rose gold in the silver version but in the gold pin it is solid rose gold.

I know that in the hunting field ornate stock pins are frowned upon but I thought these pins would also look great in the showjumping or dressage ring.
